Meet the founder and our story
From a Student Who's Been There
I didn't start A3 Tutors because I love standardized tests. I started it because I realized that most of us are studying completely wrong.
As a Math major on track for a PhD in Computational Cognitive Science, I dug into the research on how the brain actually learns. When I applied those methods to myself, everything changed. I realized that the idea of being "bad at math" or "bad at tests" is usually just a result of bad study methods.
I chose to focus on Bright Futures because I was that student. I know the pressure of needing this money to go to college, and I know how scary it is to navigate that process without a guide.

The Science Behind Our Method
How Your Brain Learns
Test Questions Show Gaps
Rebuild Understanding
Your brain learns by making predictions and updating when those predictions are wrong. This is how you naturally understand the world around you.
Bottom Line:
We don't just teach test tricks. We fix the underlying knowledge gaps that are actually causing you to miss questions. This leads to real, lasting score improvements.
The 4-Step Evaluation Path
We qualify you as much as you qualify us. Here's how we ensure mutual fit.
Interest Meeting
30 minutes
We discuss your goals, review current PSAT/SAT scores, and determine if your student fits our 1000–1130 specialization profile.Diagnostic Assessment
2 hours
We administer a comprehensive diagnostic to isolate the specific conceptual gaps separating your student from the 1190 threshold.Sample Session
2x 60 mins
Your student experiences our 'Inquiry Method' firsthand. We test their ability to 'derive' answers rather than memorize tricks.Regroup & Assess
Decision point
We review the diagnostic data and sample session performance together. We only move forward if the data suggests a high probability of success.
